Research with Confidence - Dean Anderson
Have you ever worked on your family history, but you weren't sure if you were doing it right?  Have you found records that "looked" like your family, but you weren't sure?  Learn to research quickly, with confidence and precision, using the tools and tricks professionals use.  Learn what records are important, and how to use them together to know if your end product is correct.  An example case study will be examined during class, and a separate case study will be given as "homework" to reinforce principles taught.   ("Homework" answer key available online.)

Finding Difficult Records - Dean Anderson
Have you ever struggled to find the records you need for your research?  Stop wasting your time and learn how to systematically find difficult census and vital records, or learn that they simply don't exist.  Come learn five census search techniques to find difficult families.  Learn to pinpoint vital records quickly by using a site survey, timelines, and the FamilySearch catalog.  An example case study will be examined, and separate case study "homework" assignments will be given to reinforce principles taught.  ("Homework" answer keys available online.)
